Encourage one another by sharing these experiences. Take nothing but the gospel (vv3-6) ➢ The instructions of vv3-5 are specific to that situation, but reveal general principles (which are?). If, on those principles, Jesus was to give us instructions for how we go out as ministers of the gospel, what kind of thing would he include? ‘Who is this?’ (vv7-9) ➢ What aspects of other peoples’ lives have best displayed Jesus to you? Ask God that your life, and the lives of your church family members (be specific!) would cause people to ask Herod’s question: ‘Who is this Jesus?’
